Haah... Well, computers are officially frustrating. How so? Let me count the ways... Blargh. Not with iambic pentameter, though.

We finally got ouselves a decent computer about a month ago, a shiney, brand spanking new top of the line mac. I was ecstatic becuase it's the first time I've had a decent comp. I was actually able to make use of photoshop, I even had SAI on there and was getting used to it. In fact, I was in the middle of a project on there. I saved last night, expecting all to be well and things to continue going smoothly. Uh huh. Yeah. That thought came true. >_> When I went to work on it a little more, the computer froze. So I force a restart. It won't start up. I force another restart. This process continues for 5 minutes, my frustration building with every passing moment. Something is obviously wrong. Hopefully something fixable.

... Yeah, wrong again. turns out, the hard drive cracked. LOVELY. So, there goes all of my projects, all of my programs, my only decent comp that can get online and, the biggest blow of all, my Yakitate! Japan downloads. (That last one REALLY stung. It's a great show!) And apparently we're looking at a month without it. True, it could be worse. I could have lost a lot more, and I can still get online. But don't expect anything new for a while, my crappy comp isn't up to standard for art.
